Digital Marketing Associate

Job Summary
We are seeking a growth-minded Digital Marketing Associate to own and evolve our digital search presence and support day-to-day marketing execution across key channels. This role focuses on implementing SEO and AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) strategies, creating and optimizing content, maintaining and updating website and Google business pages, tracking performance metrics, and continuously refining tactics to drive traffic, engagement, and sales impact. The ideal candidate is curious, adaptable, and eager to learn-- a true multi-tool marketer who's excited to build skills, work directly in platforms, and collaborate across teams to support both digital and retail initiatives.

This full-time role is based in Lee, MA and requires occasional evening and weekend availability based on business needs and events.

Key Responsibilites

  • Develop and execute SEO and AEO strategies that increase organic visibility, qualified traffic, and conversion performance.
  • Track, analyze, and optimize performance across key search metrics including rankings, impressions, traffic, engagement, and revenue impact.
  • Identify emerging trends in search, AI, and content and translate them into actionable opportunities.
  • Create, edit, and continuously optimize blog and evergreen content to support search performance, customer education, and sales objectives.
  • Update and improve existing content to ensure accuracy, relevance, and strong conversion performance.
  • Build and maintain brand and website pages that reinforce topical authority and strengthen B2B relationships.
  • Monitor, respond to, and escalate Google reviews as needed to support customer experience and company standards.
  • Conduct regular menu audits and update product descriptions, images, and related content as needed to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Assist with organic social media execution to support content distribution, brand visibility, and customer engagement.
  • Support website updates and content optimization in alignment with SEO best practices and a strong customer-facing user experience.
  • Work interdepartmentally with Retail and Inventory teams to build strong working relationships and support shared goals.
  • Support retail initiatives by aligning digital content with in-store priorities and promotions.
  • Ability to create, edit, and resize digital assets in Canva for web, social, and marketing use.
  • Support the broader marketing team by assisting with initiatives and projects as directed by the Marketing Director based on business needs.
  • Attend community events and brand activations to gain customer insights and inform content and search strategy.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of SEO fundamentals, content optimization, and performance measurement.
  • Working knowledge of AEO, AI-influenced search behavior, and emerging discovery platforms.
  • Comfortable working across multiple tools and platforms, including Canva, WordPress, analytics, SEO, and AI tools. Knowledge of Adobe Products a plus.
  • Able to create and work with Excel reports to organize data, track results, and identify trends.
  • Analytical and trend-aware, with the ability to translate insights into action.
  • Collaborative, team-oriented mindset with strong relationship-building skills.
  • Basic understanding of the cannabis industry preferred.
  • Highly organized, adaptable, and comfortable managing multiple initiatives.

Additional Requirements

  • Full-time, onsite role based in Lee MA. Occasional travel to the Holyoke location will be required.
  • Some nights and weekends required based on business needs and events.
  • Reliable transportation required.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
