I. JOB SUMMARY:
The Digital Marketing & Communication Specialist is responsible for the execution of all internal and external marketing efforts including, but not limited to, website, social media, promotional materials, and member communication while maintaining the integrity and consistency of our brand standards. Additional administrative support may be required from time to time as requested by the GM or AGM.
II. REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS:
Reports directly to the Assistant General Manager and works in tandem with the GM and Departmental Managers.
III. RESPONSIBILITIES AND AUTHORITIES:
- Develop, create and design all internal & external digital/print marketing materials to ensure Club brand and voice and maintained and improved upon
- Lead, develop, create and design the creative, marketing, graphic design, photos, copywriting and editing for the quarterly publication of The Connection
- Create, manage, and organize Club assets: photos, videos, logos, graphics and other visual content
- Manage, develop, produce and execute all social media aspects related to the club
- Manage, develop strategy, and track all media analytics & insights for marketing platforms: email campaigns, social media, digital campaigns, and events. Plus, ROI analysis and SEO
- Conduct market research and analyze trends to identify new marketing opportunities
- Plan, produce and execute video, photo, and digital/print content
- Ensure all marketing and productions are consistent and within brand/voice standards
- Collaborate, craft, and push email campaigns, as well as design brand and department specific email campaign templates
- Create the design & copy for marketing & promotions in the NS Event Module
- Lead and collaborate with all departments to plan, create, produce, design and execute all digital/print marketing needs: Golf, Racquets, Wellness, Food & Beverage, Events/Social, Pool, Youth and Grounds/Maintenance
- Manage, execute, and improve the public facing website, as well as the member website
- Provide marketing, design and photo support for club events and activities: promotional content on the mobile app and member website, club signage, and post-event photos edited/organized
- Welcome members and visitors to the administrative office, answer their questions and guide them to the right people while also providing basic, accurate information about the Club at large via phone or email.
IV. EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in marketing or equivalent experience.
- Possess a high level of professionalism and integrity while maintaining the confidentiality of the office and membership.
- Solid working knowledge of all Microsoft systems.
- Solid working knowledge of software to assist with design, photography, and photo/video editing, such as Adobe and Canva
- Must have a high attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, ability to work unsupervised and handle and prioritize many projects at one time.
- Ability to work a varied schedule set according to business needs including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Demonstrated strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Team-oriented and able to meet deadlines.
- Must be self-motivated and willing to serve the membership and fellow department heads.
V. WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL FUNCTIONS
- Must be able to work in a busy environment.
- Must be able to work in a warm or cold environments at times.
- Functions outside may require working in a hot, sunny, cool, cold, and/or rainy conditions.
- Independent mobility throughout Clubhouse and Club property.
- Manual dexterity to handle camera and computer.
- Hearing and speaking sufficient to communicate with members, guests and co-workers.
- Must be able to push, pull or lift up to 30 lbs.
Job Type: Full Time
Pay: $23-25/hr
