House Fly is an on-demand home services startup that connects customers with trusted local service providers. We simplify booking common home services by offering transparent pricing, easy scheduling, and reliable local pros.
We’re growing quickly and are looking for a part-time Marketing Coordinator to help us attract customers through content, email, and social media marketing.
Role Overview
We are hiring a creative, energetic, and detail-oriented Marketing Coordinator to support customer growth through blogging, email marketing, and social media. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys content creation, experimentation, and learning how marketing directly drives revenue at an early-stage startup.
A background in home services, property management, construction, or local services marketing is a strong plus, but not required.
Key Responsibilities
Ongoing Training and Development
- Enhance product knowledge and sales techniques
SEO Marketing (Blogging)
- Write and publish 3 blog posts per week (Monday / Wednesday / Friday)
- Use AI tools (ChatGPT, Jasper) to draft content and refine using Quillbot
- Publish and schedule posts via WordPress Admin
- Ensure content is relevant, SEO friendly, and aligned with House Fly services
Email Marketing
- Build targeted email lists using ChatGPT and Google research
- Create email templates and campaigns in Mailchimp
Send:
- Weekly Sunday Newsletter (includes 3 blog highlights)
- 2 targeted email campaigns per week (Tuesday / Thursday)
Social Media Marketing
- Create and schedule 5 social posts per week
- Repost high-engagement relevant content
- Create AI-generated content promoting House Fly services
- Schedule posts using Buffer
Equipment, Skills, & Qualifications
- Hardware: Desktop/laptop + smartphone; reliable internet
- Fluent English with strong written communication
- Creative, flexible, and comfortable using AI tools
- Ability to adapt quickly based on results and feedback
- Organized, reliable, and able to work independently
- Willingness to learn and experiment in a fast-moving startup environment
- Professional and respectful communication style

Job Details
- Type: Part-Time
- Hours: 20 hours/week
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 10:00am–2:00pm
- Location: Remote
- Pay: $25/hour
- Pay Cycle: Biweekly
- Legal: NDA and Statement of Work required
