Summary
The Digital Marketing Executive is the key person in charge of executing the company’s digital marketing campaigns. He/she is involved throughout the campaign ideation, planning, implementation, measurement, and optimisation process. It is therefore essential that he/she has hands-on experience using various digital marketing platforms.
The Digital Marketing Executive works closely with the internal marketing team and/or digital agencies to achieve specific company objectives set by the Head of Marketing such as; increasing digital sales, lead generation, brand engagement, and conversions. Roles and Responsibilities
- Developing and implementing digital marketing strategies that align with overall business goals and objectives.
- Managing and optimizing all digital marketing channels, including search engine optimization (SEO), pay-per-click (PPC) advertising, email marketing, social media marketing, and content marketing.
- Conducting research and analysing data to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for improvement.
- Creating and managing digital marketing budgets, tracking ROI and KPIs, and presenting performance reports to senior management.
- Staying up-to-date with the latest digital marketing trends and best practices, and integrating them into the company's marketing strategies.
- Assist in the formulation of strategies to build a lasting digital connection with consumers
- Plan and monitor the ongoing company presence on social media platforms.
- Launch optimized online adverts through Google AdWords, Facebook, etc. to increase company and brand awareness.
- Be actively involved in SEO efforts (keyword, image optimization, etc.)
- Prepare online newsletters and promotional emails and organize their distribution through various channels.
- Provide creative ideas for content marketing and update the website.
- Collaborate with designers to improve user experience.
- Measure the performance of digital marketing efforts using a variety of Web analytics tools (Google Analytics, Web Trends, etc.)
- Acquire insight into online marketing trends and keep strategies up-to-date.
- Conducting competitor analysis and market research to identify areas of opportunity and potential threats to the business.
