Digital Marketing Executive – Lead Generation & Performance Marketing

D1 Percent is a sustainability and ESG advisory firm working with corporates, institutions, and

government-linked entities across the GCC and international markets. We combine ESG

consulting with technology-driven solutions, including our in-house ESG software platform.

Role Overview

The Digital Marketing Executive will be responsible for end-to-end digital marketing

execution, with a strong focus on lead generation, performance marketing, and

growth-driven content. This is a hands-on role requiring ownership, execution discipline, and

data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead Generation & Performance Marketing

● Design and execute lead generation strategies across:

○ LinkedIn (primary channel)

○ Twitter / X

○ Meta (Facebook & Instagram)

● Build and optimize lead funnels aligned to D1P’s ESG consulting and software offerings

● Track, analyse, and improve CPL, CTR, conversion rates, and pipeline quality

● Work closely with the business development team to align marketing leads with sales

outcomes

2. Social Media Strategy & Content Execution

● Strategize and execute content calendars for LinkedIn, Twitter, and Meta

● Develop content themes focused on ESG, sustainability, climate, technology, and

advisory

● Coordinate or create visual creatives, carousels, short-form content, and post copies

● Drive engagement-oriented and conversion-oriented campaigns (not just brand posts)

3. Copywriting & Content Development

● Write high-quality, conversion-focused copy for:

○ Social media posts

○ Website pages and landing pages

○ Blogs, articles, and thought leadership content

○ Email marketing campaigns

● Adapt content tone for corporate, advisory, and institutional audiences

4. SEO, SEM & AI-driven Marketing

● Conduct SEO audits, keyword research, and competitor analysis

● Implement on-page and off-page SEO improvements

● Manage SEM / paid search campaigns (Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads)

● Use AI tools for:

○ Keyword clustering

○ Content optimization

○ Campaign testing and performance analysis

● Continuously monitor rankings, traffic, and conversion metrics

5. Email Marketing & Campaigns

● Plan and execute email marketing campaigns for:

○ Lead nurturing

○ Client engagement

○ Event/webinar promotions

● Segment mailing lists and personalise campaigns

● Track open rates, CTRs, and conversions

● Optimise campaigns based on performance data

6. Research, Analytics & Reporting

● Conduct market, competitor, and industry research

● Analyse campaign performance using tools like:

○ Google Analytics

○ Search Console

○ LinkedIn Campaign Manager

○ SEO tools (Ahrefs, SEMrush, etc.)

● Prepare simple, insight-driven reports with recommendations (not vanity metrics)

Required Skills & Experience

● 2–5 years of hands-on digital marketing experience

● Proven experience in lead generation and performance marketing

● Strong knowledge of SEO, SEM, and paid campaigns

● Excellent copywriting and communication skills

● Comfortable using AI tools for marketing execution

● Ability to work independently in a remote setup

● Execution-oriented mindset with accountability for results

Nice to Have

● Experience in B2B, consulting, SaaS, ESG, or technology sectors

● Familiarity with CRM tools and marketing automation platforms

● Basic design understanding (Canva, Figma coordination)

KPIs & Success Metrics

● Qualified leads generated per month

● Cost per lead (CPL)

● Campaign conversion rates

● Website traffic growth & keyword rankings

● Email campaign performance
