Roles and Responsibilities:
As a Digital Marketing Generalist at Sectona, you will be responsible for planning, executing, monitoring, and optimising digital marketing campaigns across organic and paid channels. You will drive awareness, lead generation, and engagement with a strong focus on SEO, LinkedIn and other social platforms, content amplification, and analytics.
You will work closely with marketing, sales, product, and content teams to deliver outcomes that align with business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Campaign Strategy and Execution
- Develop and implement integrated digital marketing campaigns across SEO, social media (especially LinkedIn), email marketing, paid ads, and content distribution.
- Plan and execute campaign calendars tied to product launches, industry events, webinars, and demand generation goals.
- Manage and optimise paid campaigns (where applicable).
Search Engine Optimisation (SEO)
- Perform keyword research, site audit, and on-page and off-page SEO.
- Optimise website landing pages, blog content, and meta tags to improve organic rankings and traffic.
- Use tools to implement and monitor technical SEO improvements.
- Track performance and iterate SEO strategy monthly/quarterly.
Social Media and Content Amplification
- Execute social content calendars and boost high-impact content in coordination with design and content teams.
- Explore additional social channels and tactics suitable for audience growth and brand awareness.
Marketing Tools and Analytics
- Use tools like Semrush, Ahrefs, and SE Ranking for SEO planning and competitor analysis.
- Use HubSpot (or equivalent) for campaign automation, lead nurturing, tracking, and segmentation.
- Integrate Salesforce (or CRM) with marketing analytics for pipeline tracking.
- Set up and monitor Google Analytics (or equivalent) for traffic and conversion insights.
Reporting and Optimisation
- Build weekly and monthly dashboards covering website performance, SEO KPIs, campaign results, social metrics, lead conversions, and ROI.
- Provide actionable insights to improve performance month-over-month.
- Conduct A/B tests on messaging, landing pages, and campaign elements.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work with design and content teams for creatives, landing pages, blogs, infographics, videos, and other such particulars.
- Partner with leaders to understand target segments, demographics, and campaign impact on pipeline development

Required Skills and Experience:
- 3-4 years of relevant digital marketing experience, preferably in a B2B/SaaS environment (cybersecurity experience a plus).
- Strong SEO expertise with measurable results.
- Hands-on experience executing campaigns on LinkedIn and other social platforms.
- Experience with marketing and SEO tools such as Semrush, SE Ranking, Ahrefs, HubSpot, Google Analytics and Search Console, and CRM tools like Salesforce.
- Familiarity with paid campaign setup (LinkedIn ads and search ads).
- Data-driven and comfortable using analytics to make recommendations.
- Ability to distil performance data into actionable insights and present them clearly.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Collaborative mindset to work across teams.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and campaigns simultaneously.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Proactive problem solver with a results-oriented attitude.
Preferred Educational Background
- Master’s degree in marketing or related field.
- Bachelor’s degree or global equivalent in any IT field is good to have.
