Digital Marketing Intern (SEO & Social Media)

Duration: 3–6 Months | Internship (PPO Opportunity)

About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Digital Marketing Intern to assist our team in SEO optimization, content management, and social media activities.
The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of SEO strategies, digital trends, and creative social media handling. This internship will provide hands-on exposure to real-time digital marketing projects, analytics, and brand growth activities.

Key Responsibilities

SEO (Search Engine Optimization):

• Perform keyword research and competitor analysis using SEO tools (Ahrefs, SEMrush, Google Keyword Planner, etc.).
• Execute On-Page SEO — meta tags, title, headings, internal linking, image optimization, and schema setup.
• Work on Off-Page SEO — link building, directory submissions, guest blogging, and backlinks.
• Monitor website performance using Google Analytics, Search Console, and generate weekly SEO reports.
• Identify content gaps and opportunities to improve search rankings and visibility.

Content Management:

• Coordinate with the content team to create SEO-friendly blogs, landing pages, and web content.
• Ensure keyword placement, readability, and metadata alignment.
• Maintain and update website content using CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress).

Social Media Management:

• Schedule and manage posts across LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook.
• Engage with followers, respond to comments, and maintain page activity.
• Track performance metrics and prepare monthly engagement reports.
• Support campaign creation and audience targeting for brand awareness.

Skills & Requirements

• Basic understanding of SEO tools (Google Analytics, Search Console, Uber suggest, Ahrefs, Semrush etc.).
• Familiar with social media tools like Canva, Meta Business Suite, and Buffer etc
• Strong writing & editing skills with an eye for detail.
• Knowledge of current SEO & social media trends.
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.

Eligibility

• Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, or related field or Any Graduate.
• Prior internship or project work in digital marketing will be an added advantage.
