OVERVIEW::
The Digital Marketing Manager will own the website and key digital marketing channels to grow online sales and improve digital performance. This person will manage the website, including site updates, product merchandising, and SEO, as well as email and SMS strategy and content.
The ideal candidate for this role will be able to combine analytical thinking with creative execution to drive the ecommerce business forward on a new platform (Shopify Plus) and significant investment in new partnerships and collabs.
RESPONSIBILITIES::- Own day-to-day management of Southmoonunder.com (Shopify Plus experience preferred)
- Manage merchandising strategy across categories, ensuring products have necessary details, are easy to find, and visually appealing
- Responsible for translating the overarching marketing strategy into thoughtful and tactical plans across the website and digital marketing channels
- Create and manage email marketing calendar, inclusive of concepts, copy, creative assets, and audience strategy
- Create and manage SMS marketing calendar, inclusive of concepts, copy, creative assets, and audience strategy
- Create and manage website marketing calendar, inclusive of storytelling, copy, and creative needs
- Monitor and analyze KPIs related to ecommerce and digital marketing channels on a consistent basis to mine for optimization, learns, and business opportunities (GA4 experience preferred)
- Become a subject matter expert for digital opportunities, trends, and updates
- Collaborate with Marketing Team (store, social, paid media, and creative) to align campaigns with web and digital marketing initiatives
- Performs other duties related to the qualifications and requirements of the job.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS::
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in relevant coarse work preferred
Experience: 3 - 5 years of digital marketing experience & an understanding of ecommerce-based businesses.
Requirement: This role requires candidate to be in office at our Corporate headquarters in Annapolis, MD
Skills:
- Experience with Shopify Plus, Klaviyo or another ESP, and Google Analytics required
- Experience working in ecommerce retail or fashion preferred
- Strong writing skills
- Meticulous attention to detail, organized and strong project management skills
- Eagerness to collaborate with a team and work hard to positively impact the business
