This role is a full-time, in-office position located at our Fort Myers, Florida office.

What We’re Searching For: Marketing Strategist - Construction / Contractors

Avenue Media is searching for a dynamic, growth-focused professional to join our Account Strategy team in our Fort Myers, Florida office. You will be the crucial link between our digital marketing expertise and the unique needs of our clients across various industries.

You'll take the lead on overseeing marketing strategies for a variety of clients by working with the internal team to manage SEO, content creation, digital advertising, social media, and website development. Your primary objective will be to leverage your strategic and marketing knowledge to help these businesses achieve significant growth through effective digital marketing solutions.

The Ideal Candidate: Marketing and Client Strategy Expert

We need a candidate who can immediately connect with, strategically advise, and deeply understand the business needs and wants of various business owners. A proven background in digital marketing and account management is essential. You will use this strategic expertise to shape and communicate high-impact digital marketing strategies focused on client growth.

Job Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To:

  • Strategize with clients and internal staff members for effective marketing campaigns, specifically targeting growth and business expansion.
  • Act as the voice of the client, ensuring all marketing efforts genuinely address their business challenges and goals.
  • Lead creative meetings with clients and internal staff members to discuss content marketing, lead generation, and business development opportunities.
  • Research and help implement the latest SEO and SEM trends.
  • Work with our marketing team to produce digital and print promotional materials and presentations for clients and internal projects.
  • Work closely with our Web Developers and clients to create creative, engaging, relevant copy for web projects.
  • Manage multiple creative projects at once, prioritizing by size and due dates to ensure we meet deadlines with high-quality results.

Key Competencies:

  • Deep understanding of digital marketing disciplines (SEO, SEM, PPC, Content Marketing, Social Media).
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, especially the ability to translate complex marketing data and concepts into clear client action items.
  • Shares our values for “pixel perfect” work with a hyper-attention to detail.
  • Good organization and planning practitioner.
  • Manages time efficiently for high productivity and output.
  • Good listener & problem solver.

Requirements:

  • Essential: Direct experience working in or with digital marketing, client-facing account management, or business strategy.
  • Strong preference for a growth-oriented mindset and experience in strategies aimed at business expansion (e.g., lead generation, customer acquisition, funnel optimization).
  • A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in a relevant field (e.g., account management, digital marketing, business development, or client strategy) is required.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of digital marketing concepts, including SEO, Google Analytics, various marketing channels, and campaign optimization.
  • Experience, confidence, and skill interfacing with clients as a strategic partner.
  • Experience with Google Drive, Gmail, and Google Hangouts is a Plus.
  • Must speak fluent English.
  • Must live in (or be able to commute to) the Fort Myers area.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
