General Purpose
The Digital Marketing Manager plays a pivotal role in driving lead generation, brand visibility, and digital performance across a multifamily portfolio. This position is responsible for managing digital advertising, SEO/SEM, analytics, and ILS optimization while overseeing a team dedicated to executing strategic marketing initiatives that support leasing performance and portfolio growth.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities

Represent and support Mission Rock Residential’s (MRR) authentic culture by collaborating with team members and vendor partners while delivering best-in-class customer service.

Digital Strategy & Execution: Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive digital marketing strategies that align with corporate goals and community-level objectives.

SEO/SEM & Web Optimization: Manage and optimize search engine marketing and search engine optimization initiatives to drive qualified traffic and improve conversion performance across community websites and digital channels.

Google Analytics & Performance Tracking: Maintain and interpret Google Analytics and other performance dashboards to evaluate campaign ROI, conversion rates, and audience behavior. Provide actionable insights to improve overall marketing effectiveness.

Advertising & ILS Management: Oversee digital advertising and Internet Listing Service (ILS) performance across multiple platforms, optimizing spend allocation and creative strategy to maximize lead generation and minimize cost per lease. Oversee the quality, accuracy, and consistency of all digital marketing materials and campaigns, ensuring proper tracking, reporting, and continuous evaluation of effectiveness across all digital channels.

Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of digital marketing specialists and coordinators, fostering collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Data-Driven Decision Making: Regularly analyze portfolio-level and community-level marketing data to identify trends, underperformance, and opportunities for optimization. Prepare reports and dashboards for executive and client presentations.

Strategic Partnership Management: Maintain strong vendor relationships with Internet Listing Services (ILS) and digital marketing partners to ensure performance alignment, collaborative success, and mutually beneficial partnerships.

Collaboration & Cross-Departmental Partnership: Partner with internal teams—including Operations, Revenue Management, IT, and Training—to ensure marketing strategies are integrated and aligned with leasing goals and customer experience initiatives.

Client & Executive Presentations: Communicate campaign outcomes, strategic recommendations, and performance insights to senior leadership and property ownership groups through clear, data-driven presentations.

Reporting & Analytics: Generate, analyze, and distribute recurring reports—including weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual summaries—ensuring stakeholders are informed and data-driven decisions are supported.

Budget Planning & Recommendations: Determine annual budget recommendations by balancing financial constraints with property performance and overall strategic goals.
Requirements:
Education:

High School diploma or equivalent required

College Degree in Marketing or related field preferred

Google Analytics Certified preferred
Experience:

Minimum 5 years in a data analytics/marketing analytics

Minimum 3 years in the multifamily industry

Minimum 3 years in a management role

Proven success in managing analytics-driven campaigns and providing actionable insights

Experience leading cross-functional projects and collaborating with senior leadership
