The Role
We're seeking an experienced Digital Marketing Manager to serve as the strategic and operational backbone of our agency. This role reports directly to the CEO and acts as the primary liaison between our team and clients. You'll be responsible for driving SEO and lead generation success while overseeing our technical and marketing teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients, managing relationships and ensuring exceptional service delivery
- Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies including technical SEO, content strategy, and link building campaigns
- Create and implement lead generation strategies that drive measurable client growth
- Manage and optimize Google Ads and Bing Ads campaigns with focus on ROI
- Oversee content creation and social media management initiatives
- Direct and mentor developers, analysts, and junior marketing staff
- Lead project management across multiple client accounts simultaneously
- Develop SEO-focused content strategies and ensure quality execution
- Monitor campaign performance and deliver actionable insights to clients
- Stay current with digital marketing trends, algorithm updates, and industry best practices
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years hands-on experience in SEO strategy and execution
- Minimum 5 years managing Google Ads and Bing Ads campaigns with proven results
- Strong background in link building strategies and outreach
- Demonstrated success in lead generation and conversion optimization
- Experience managing client relationships in an agency environment
- Proven ability to lead and coordinate cross-functional teams
- Proficiency with SEO tools (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, Google Analytics, Search Console)
- Strong understanding of website development processes and how they impact SEO
- On-page SEO knowledge with ability to provide clear technical specifications to developers and oversee implementation
- Experience with project management tools and methodologies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Agency experience, particularly with SEO/web design/development companies
- Experience with content management systems (WordPress, etc.)
- Social media advertising experience (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram)
- Familiarity with conversion rate optimization (CRO)
- Google Ads and Analytics certifications
