POSITION SUMMARY:

Sampled is seeking a Digital Marketing and Multimedia Specialist to join our growing Content & Creative team within Marketing. This role combines hands-on creative production, digital organization, and content management to support brand awareness and engagement. The ideal candidate is a creative thinker with strong technical skills in photo/video, design, and web editing, while also being highly organized and detail-oriented in managing digital assets and content calendars.

This role will create visuals that adhere to the Sampled brand style guide, including graphics, photos, and videos, for use across social media, website, digital and print collateral, and internal communications. In addition to creative production, this role will manage Sampled’s LinkedIn content calendar, schedule posts in HubSpot, and help shape messaging for a B2B audience. They will also be responsible for making updates to the company’s WordPress website, including editing existing pages, creating new pages, and refining page layouts and structure to keep content accurate and engaging. The Digital Marketing and Multimedia Specialist will play a key role in capturing original media, maintaining the company’s digital asset library, and contributing to the overall creative output from marketing. Over time, this role will grow into supporting webinar production and management.

This position will have the option of hybrid working, working onsite at Sampled’s HQ in Piscataway New Jersey 3 days per week.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

Social Media & Content

  • Refine source content into posts tailored for a B2B LinkedIn audience
  • Create social media featured images
  • Maintain a rolling 6-month calendar of evergreen social media posts
  • Coordinate 2–4 time-sensitive LinkedIn posts per month
  • Schedule posts in HubSpot Marketing Hub
  • Maintain a separate calendar of “Awareness Days” relevant to Sampled, collaborating with HR and other stakeholders on posts
  • Support LinkedIn content coordination for C-suite executives and sales representatives

Photo, Video & Multimedia

  • Capture and edit photos and videos of employees, partners, and events
  • Maintain and organize a photo/video bank for company use
  • Support virtual video outreach and webinars (live and pre-recorded content)
  • Perform basic video editing using tools in the Adobe Creative Suite
  • Produce visually engaging assets for social, email, web, and print
  • Serve as the internal graphic design resource for marketing and cross-departmental needs
  • Ensure all visuals follow Sampled brand guidelines

Digital Asset Management

  • Maintain consistent visual and messaging standards across digital assets
  • Catalog and organize all marketing documents and creative materials in a central repository
  • Manage and update a digital asset ID system for graphics and marketing collateral

Web & Digital

  • Perform updates to Sampled’s WordPress website, including editing existing pages, creating new pages, and adjusting site structure and design as needed
  • Work within the Gutenberg editing platform to format and publish content
  • Use Adobe Photoshop for resizing and preparing web images (proficiency with document setup, image masks, export settings, and editing for web imagery)

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, Graphic Design, or a related field
  • 2+ years of professional experience in digital marketing, multimedia production, or a related creative role
  • Demonstrated hands-on skills in photography, videography, and editing (Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, InDesign, After Effects a plus)
  • Strong writing and communication skills with the ability to translate technical/scientific content into engaging, audience-appropriate marketing copy
  • Experience managing and scheduling content calendars for social platforms, ideally B2B (LinkedIn preferred)
  • Familiarity with marketing automation platforms (HubSpot and Salesforce strongly preferred) and content management systems (WordPress, Gutenberg)
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently in a fast-paced, hybrid environment
  • Strong organizational skills for cataloging and managing large volumes of digital assets with attention to version control and consistency

Annual Salary range $55,000 to $70,000 depending on qualifications, skills and experience
