Digital Marketing Operations Specialist (SaaS)

About The Role

As a Digital Marketing Operations Specialist at Valus, you will play a pivotal role in driving growth by overseeing digital marketing operations, CRM management, and campaign execution within a SaaS environment. This role blends strategic planning with hands-on execution across CRM platforms, paid advertising, SEO, analytics, website optimization, and marketing automation.

You will be responsible for managing the full digital funnel from acquisition to engagement and retention, using a stack of best-in-class SaaS marketing tools. This is a high-ownership role, ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced SaaS ecosystems, enjoys experimenting with growth levers, and has proven experience in scaling marketing operations for tech-driven businesses.

Key Responsibilities

  • CRM & Automation: Manage and optimize CRM platforms (HubSpot, Go High Level, or similar), building automated workflows, nurturing campaigns, and lead scoring systems.
  • Paid Advertising: Set up, manage, and optimize Google Ads campaigns (Search, Display, Retargeting), plus Meta and LinkedIn Ads, focused on ROI, pipeline contribution, and product adoption.
  • SEO & Content: Lead proven SEO strategies including keyword research, technical SEO, and on-page/off-page optimization while coordinating SEO-aligned content creation.
  • Analytics & Insights: Leverage tools like Google Analytics, Hotjar, and Google Tag Manager to analyze user journeys, funnels, and conversion rates; provide actionable insights.
  • CMS & Web Optimization: Manage and optimize WordPress sites and landing pages, ensuring SEO-friendly design, fast load speeds, and high conversion rates.
  • Growth Experiments: Design and run A/B tests (Optimizely, VWO) to improve acquisition and engagement continuously.
  • Cross-Team Collaboration: Partner with product, sales, and design teams to align marketing campaigns with SaaS product goals and customer lifecycle stages.
  • Market Operations: Own day-to-day digital marketing operations with a SaaS-first mindset, ensuring campaigns are scalable, measurable, and data-driven.

Preferred Skills & Experience

  • 4 to 5 years in digital marketing with proven experience in a SaaS environment.
  • Hands-on expertise with CRM systems (HubSpot, Go High Level, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, or similar).
  • Proven Google Ads, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and SEO experience.
  • Strong background with WordPress and website optimization.
  • Familiarity with analytics & optimization tools such as Hotjar, Mixpanel, Amplitude, Heap, or Looker Studio.
  • Experience with SEO and competitive research tools (Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz).
  • Knowledge of automation and workflow tools (Zapier, Make, ActiveCampaign, Customer.io).
  • Exposure to growth experimentation tools (Optimizely, VWO) and conversational marketing (Intercom, Drift).
  • Strong content creation and copywriting skills for SaaS marketing.
  • Data-driven mindset with strong reporting and dashboarding capabilities.
