Project Manager – Digital Marketing (Contractor)

Location: Data Informata (Remote/On-Site)
Compensation: $65,000 - $85,000 base rate (commensurate with experience) + 5% project commission after dev costs

Data Informata owns several leading advertising firms in the United States specializing in Digital Marketing, Branding, and Advertising. With offices virtual across the West and east Coasts, I am looking for the ideal PM seamlessly manage contracts at any stage of the project lifecycle keeping clients happy as a clam.

Our parent company is a well known software firm. Many of the contracts come from apps/software that the software firm built, that now need to be branded and launched and advertised. Due to the relationship with our software parent, we have never advertised in 20 years but that is all going to end in January 2025 when we will lay down ads.

Starting January 15th, we are going to start dropping ads and start to grow our digital footprint which dominates several GEO areas of the US.

In many ways, this is a ground floor opportunity as a PM to launch a Digital brand. The stakeholders on the software side are all ex Google and due to this relationship we have access to methodology our competitors don't. As of January 1st, 2025 the stakeholders want to grow this niche area if our company.

As a contractor, you’ll work independently to oversee client accounts, manage campaigns, have regular meetings and ensure all deliverables exceed expectations. This is an exciting opportunity to collaborate with a passionate, innovative team while enjoying the flexibility of a contractor role.

Who You Are:

  • A highly organized, proactive professional with excellent communication skills and a knack for handling high-maintenance clients.
  • An expert in Digital Marketing, with a deep understanding of social media advertising, SEO, AI, branding, press coverage, and other digital solutions.
  • A sales-minded strategist who can craft customized proposals, assess upsell opportunities, and manage client accounts from onboarding to delivery.
  • A skilled collaborator who can coordinate with developers, writers, and advertising specialists to ensure successful project execution.
  • A self-starter who stays ahead of trends and thrives in a fast-moving, innovative environment.
  • Does not live too far away from Bellevue so you don't complain about the commute!

What You’ll Do:

  • Take Over and Manage Contracts from a Previous PM: Seamlessly step into ongoing client relationships, stabilize processes, and deliver results that exceed expectations.
  • Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact, keeping clients informed with regular updates and delivering exceptional service.
  • Project Management: Oversee end-to-end execution of advertising campaigns, branding initiatives, press article placements, and digital marketing projects.
  • Custom Proposals: Collaborate with clients during pre-sales meetings to craft tailored advertising and branding solutions using our adaptable templates.
  • Social Media Advertising: Plan and manage ad campaigns on platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, TikTok, and YouTube, focusing on strategic targeting and measurable results.
  • Team Collaboration: Coordinate with overseas developers, writers, and media specialists to deliver press articles, backlinks, and other digital solutions for clients.
  • Performance Tracking: Use analytical tools to track campaign performance, optimize strategies, and clearly demonstrate ROI to clients.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in project management, digital marketing, SEO, or related roles.
  • Proven expertise in social media advertising (not management), branding, and client communication.
  • Strong understanding of analytics tools for performance tracking and campaign optimization.
  • Ability to create tailored proposals, assess client needs, and deliver strategic solutions.
  • Experience working with developers, writers, and external collaborators to execute advertising and branding campaigns.
  • Sales acumen with a track record of upselling and growing accounts.

Bonus Skills:

  • Experience with design tools like Canva or media scheduling platforms.
  • Familiarity with managing press article placements and securing high-DA backlinks.
  • Photography or content creation skills (a plus, but not required).
