The Digital Marketing Specialist designs, creates, and delivers digital marketing programs to support expansion and growth of the bank. He or she is responsible for planning, developing, and executing digital programs, including website strategy and design, social media, mobile, email marketing, online advertising, and branch digital advertising. In addition, the Digital Marketing Specialist answers questions and directs telephone calls and visitors, prepares documents, and assembles and maintains data.
Qualifications
- 
Must be at least 18 years old
- 
High school diploma or equivalent and an Associate's Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related field required
- 
At least three years of related experience preferred
- 
Must have working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Acrobat)
- 
Must possess an understanding of social media channels, online advertising, website management, and SEO and a strong understanding of current and emerging social media channels
-

Responsibilities
- 
Assists in the development and implementation of digital marketing programs, including online advertising and search engine optimization
- 
Researches and makes recommendations for the establishment of social media
- 
Researches and maintains a working knowledge of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Ad Words programs and provides updates and recommendations to Vice President Marketing Director
- 
Works to improve the online brand presence
- 
Stays up-to-date with digital media technologies and latest trends
- 
Assists in planning, developing, and implementing the bank's SEO strategy and stays up to date with the latest SEO trends and best practices
- 
Researches and identifies third party vendors to facilitate objectives and makes recommendations to Vice President Marketing Director
- 
Plans, writes, and edits web content for digital media and other communication tools
- 
Creates articles, advertisements, and announcements for social media activities
- 
Provides assistance to the Vice President Marketing Director with social marketing, internet marketing, and email marketing and promotions
- 
Initiates, launches, and monitors progress of digital platforms to improve the bank’s online presence
- 
Maintains and monitors all social media channels and researches social media and related tools and explores ways to use them to reach new audiences across various platforms to increase product and brand awareness
- 
Ensures that digital media activities are effective and support marketing objectives
- 
Monitors and updates all digital touch points, including the bank’s website and online reviews
- 
Maintains website analytics and generates and analyzes data
- 
Monitors external blogs, social networking sites, and forums and participates in the conversation as needed
- 
Tracks online traffic communication in order to respond on a timely basis to visitor questions
- 
Tracks and analyzes the effectiveness of D.L. Evans Bank’s digital media
- 
Schedules content for the bank’s digital in-branch advertising and troubleshoots any issues that may arise
- 
Resolves requests, questions, and problems courteously and professionally and ensures that communications are efficient and effective
- 
Ensures that marketing activities create positive customer and community responses
- 
Creates digital content such as website, blogs, press releases and podcasts, infographics, videos, etc.
- 
Researches and assists in implementing an online email marketing platform
- 
Regularly tracks and obtains insights into competitor strategies
- 
Researches ways to improve website traffic
- 
Manages digital media tools and remains current on the use of emerging tools and their applicability to D.L. Evans Bank
- 
Maintains and projects the Bank's professional reputation
- 
Keeps management informed of area activities and any significant problems or concerns
- 
Serves as a representative for D.L. Evans Bank in the community
- 
Completes special projects as assigned
