The Opportunity:

We are seeking a driven and entrepreneurial Digital Marketing Specialist to take full ownership of our SEO and PPC channels. This is not a typical marketing role where you're just another cog in the machine. You will be the architect and operator of our most critical lead generation channels, working directly with the owner to translate business goals into marketing results. The founder built the business on direct mail and crush that channel. Now you will have the autonomy to build, manage, and optimize our digital presence from the ground up, with the primary goal of making performance marketing a core competency of our business. Key Responsibilities:

• PPC Management (Google Ads):

• Architect, launch, and manage granular, geo-targeted Google Ads campaigns across our service areas.

• Conduct continuous keyword research, ad copy A/B testing, and bid optimization to achieve a target Cost Per Contract.

• Build and maintain an extensive negative keyword list to maximize budget efficiency.

• Analyze performance data to scale budgets, test new markets, and drive down lead costs.

• Collaborate on landing page optimization to improve conversion rates.

• SEO Management:

• Develop and execute a comprehensive SEO strategy focused on establishing local authority in our core and expansion markets.

• Conduct technical SEO audits and work to improve site speed, mobile-friendliness, and crawlability on our WordPress site.

• Create and optimize hyper-local service area pages and problem-focused blog content that attracts and converts motivated sellers.

• Manage and optimize our Google Business Profile to dominate local search results.

• Execute a proactive local link-building strategy to build domain authority.

• Analytics & Reporting:

• Implement and manage end-to-end conversion tracking from click to signed contract.

• Monitor and report on a dashboard of key performance indicators (KPIs), including CPL, Cost Per Contract, organic traffic, and keyword rankings.

• Provide monthly performance reviews with clear insights and strategic recommendations.

Qualifications:

• 3-5+ years of hands-on experience managing successful PPC (Google Ads) and SEO campaigns.

• A proven track record of generating high-quality leads and improving ROI in a direct-response environment.

• Deep expertise with Google Ads, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and WordPress.

• Proficiency with at least one major SEO tool (e.g., Semrush, Ahrefs).

• Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• A self-starter mentality with the ability to work independently and take ownership of outcomes.
