Marketing Manager

Position Summary

The Marketing Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing marketing strategies that drive brand awareness, lead generation, and overall business growth. This position requires a well-rounded professional who can balance hands-on execution with strategic planning across multiple marketing channels, including digital advertising, social media, and local outreach efforts.

The ideal candidate will have experience in digital marketing for service-based industries, strong analytical skills, and the ability to create content that reflects the company’s professionalism and commitment to quality. This is an on-site position based in Canton, Ohio, with occasional weekend work for special events or promotions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, execute, and manage all marketing activities including SEO, PPC, LSA, Google Ads, Meta Ads, TikTok, and other digital platforms.
  • Oversee and maintain all social media accounts, ensuring consistent branding, timely posting, and engagement with followers.
  • Create, schedule, and post content personally—photos, videos, and written materials—to promote ongoing projects, company culture, and community involvement.
  • Respond to customer reviews and social media comments in a professional and brand-aligned manner.
  • Monitor and optimize campaign performance across channels to maximize ROI and lower cost per lead.
  • Manage and update Google Business Profile listings, website content, and online reputation.
  • Coordinate with external vendors (e.g., videographers, ad agencies, designers) to ensure cohesive messaging and branding.
  • Track and report on key marketing metrics such as website traffic, leads, and engagement rates.
  • Assist with planning and promoting local marketing events, community sponsorships, and networking opportunities.
  • Stay current with marketing trends, tools, and best practices relevant to the home improvement and construction industries.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field required.
  • 3+ years of experience in marketing, preferably in a service-based or home improvement industry (roofing, construction, remodeling, etc.).
  • Proficiency in Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, and Google Analytics.
  • Working knowledge of SEO principles and online reputation management.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail and brand tone.
  • Ability to capture and edit basic photos or videos for social media and marketing purposes.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret marketing data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Self-motivated, creative, and comfortable working independently as well as collaboratively.

Schedule & Compensation

  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional Saturday or Sunday events as needed.
  • Compensation: $25–$45 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
