Job Description

The Social Media Content Creator will be responsible for developing, producing, and editing engaging photo and video content for Smeding Diesel’s digital channels. This position requires creativity, attention to detail, and understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, produce, and edit content for Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok (Reels, stories, static posts).

Edit and optimize short-form video content for Youtube, Google, TikTok.

Take and edit product photos for website and ads.

Plan, schedule, and post content across social channels on a daily/ weekly basis.

Stay ahead of social trends and adapt them into content that makes sense for Smeding Diesel.

Manage community engagement: respond to comments, and DMs.

Monitor analytics and make recommendations to improve performance.

Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas.

Qualifications:

1–5 years of experience creating content for social media

Strong video editing skills (mobile and/or desktop).

Basic graphic design skills (Canva, Adobe Illustrator, or Photoshop).

Strong organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects.

A self-starter who’s highly motivated, proactive, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Passion for automotive culture or diesel performance a strong plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
