Job Title: Digital Marketing Specialist

Location: Remote (Contractor Position)

Reports To: Monica Wofford, Founder, Contagious Companies

As a growing brand, Contagious Companies seeks a skilled and strategic Digital Marketing Specialist to help elevate, enhance the company’s digital presence, reach new prospects and clients, and effectively drive brand awareness, appeal, and lead generation across multiple platforms.

So, in short non-corporate speak, we need a fabulous WHIZ of a marketer who LOVES doing social media and also has business savvy and LOVES getting results and sales about as much as you love making an Insta page for your pet salamander.

Even more specifically, for this Position: We're looking for an experienced, self-driven Digital Marketing Specialist to manage and optimize our social media marketing efforts on Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, and possibly Instagram. The ideal candidate will dive right in and know what they are doing in both organic traffic, content post to sales posts ratio, as well as ad buys and ad types (pixel to carousel), without thinking it's realistic to have a $5K a month ad budget before first getting results. Come on people! LOL.

Yes, there would be an emphasis on likes and follows, but at the end of the day it's more about finding buyers and loyal fans and followers, and then creating leads that convert into revenue sales and opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

Social Media Strategy & Execution:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies across Facebook (paid and unpaid), LinkedIn, and YouTube to increase brand visibility, engagement, and conversions.
  • Deploy Instagram channel based on an existing character, if deemed ideal.
  • Manage content creation, scheduling, and posting across platforms, ensuring content aligns with brand messaging and goals.
  • Optimize and grow the company’s YouTube channel, ensuring consistent branding, content planning, and video engagement.
  • Schedule content and posts through Go High Level CRM.

Advertising & Funnels:

  • Oversee Facebook Ads, Google Ads, and Instagram advertising campaigns, where applicable ensuring each campaign is set up for maximum ROI and lead conversion, as well as integration with Go High Level CRM.
  • Create and manage Facebook Pixel ads and manage marketing funnels to drive leads and conversions, through or into CRM.
  • Develop and manage email marketing, including existing Monday Moments.

Creative Design & Content Creation:

  • Design and create graphics and content for social media posts, ads, email campaigns, and other digital materials.
  • Develop compelling copy for ads, blogs, and posts that drive engagement and action.

Advising & Strategy:

  • Provide strategic input on the company’s overall digital marketing efforts and advise on improvements to existing campaigns.
  • Monitor trends and make recommendations for new platforms, tools, or techniques to incorporate into digital marketing strategies.

Key Qualifications (these are kinda common sense):

  • Have DONE all of the above before and has references and examples and a portfolio to back up bragging. Lol.
  • Experience in social media campaigns, including Facebook Ads, Google Ads, and the Facebook Pixel.
  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing strategies and tools (Google Ads, Funnel Management, SEO, etc.).
  • Proficiency in graphic design (tools like Canva, Adobe Suite, etc.) and content creation that is ON BRAND.
  • Proven ability to advise on and implement marketing strategies, including copywriting, visual content, and scheduling.
  • Experience with Go High Level CRM STRONGLY PREFERRED.
  • A strong understanding of analytics and ability to optimize campaigns and results based on performance data.
  • Ability to work autonomously, manage multiple clients, and meet deadlines in a contractor capacity, while still managing to communicate well and maintain one's sanity.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Fun and joy-filled relationship building persona with a sense of humor. While we do serious business, we greatly prefer to have fun while DOING it.
