Job Description: Digital Marketing Specialist
Location: Jayanagar- Bangalore
Experience: 3–5 years
Reports to: Digital Marketing Head
About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Digital Marketing Specialist to join our dynamic marketing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and executing all aspects of our digital marketing activities, ensuring seamless online presence and performance. This role focuses on hands-on execution.
Key Responsibilities
Website Management (WordPress)
● Manage and update website content, pages, blogs, and landing pages using WordPress.
● Ensure website accuracy, functionality, and alignment with brand guidelines.
● Coordinate with developers or designers when advanced updates are needed.
Search Engine Optimisation (SEO)
● Conduct on-page optimisation: keywords, metadata, internal linking, and content updates.
● Perform basic technical SEO checks and collaborate with external teams if deeper fixes are required.
● Monitor rankings, traffic, and site performance using SEO tools (e.g., Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs).
Social Media Management
● Execute day-to-day social media activities across platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, etc.).
● Create and publish content, maintain posting calendars, and engage with audiences.
● Track performance metrics and provide monthly performance reports.
Pay-Per-Click (PPC) & Digital Advertising
● Manage and optimise paid campaigns across Google Ads, Meta Ads, and other relevant platforms.
● Monitor budgets, performance, and conversions to ensure ROI.
● Prepare regular reports on campaign metrics.
Content Creation
● Develop digital content, including blog posts, social posts, email content, landing page copy, and basic creative briefs.
● Collaborate with designers or agencies for visual assets.
Email Marketing
● Create, schedule, and deploy email campaigns, newsletters, and nurture flows. Build and segment email lists to ensure targeted communication.
● Conduct A/B tests for subject lines, CTAs, and templates to optimise engagement. Monitor email performance metrics (open rates, CTR, conversions) and report on results.
Marketing Automation
● Set up and maintain automated workflows such as lead nurturing, onboarding, retention, and re-engagement sequences.
● Work with tools such as HubSpot, Mailchimp, or similar platforms.
● Ensure accurate tagging, lead scoring, and data hygiene across marketing systems.
● Collaborate with sales teams to optimise lead flow and campaign follow-ups.
Requirements
● 3–5 years of experience in digital marketing, with proven hands-on expertise across multiple channels.
● Strong proficiency in WordPress for website management and updates.
● Solid understanding of SEO principles and experience with keyword research, on-page optimisation, and backlinking.
● Experience managing paid advertising campaigns (Google Ads, Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads, etc.).
● Ability to create compelling content for various digital platforms.
● Familiarity with digital marketing analytics tools (Google Analytics, Google Search Console, social media analytics).
● Excellent communication and organisational skills.
● Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Skills
● Experience with email marketing platforms (Mailchimp, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, etc.).
● Basic graphic design skills (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).
● Knowledge of CRM and marketing automation tools.
