Job Title: Assistant Marketing Specialist
Location: MegaMart CA INC – East Palo Alto (EPA) Store
Employment Type: Part-Time (Based on Business Needs)

Position Summary

MegaMart CA INC is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Assistant Marketing Specialist to support marketing initiatives at our East Palo Alto (EPA) store. This role is ideal for a candidate with strong skills in social media management, graphic design, and photography, who can help enhance our brand presence, promote in-store offerings, and engage our local community.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and schedule engaging social media content across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and other relevant channels
• Capture high-quality photos of products, promotions, events, and in-store displays
• Design digital marketing assets, including social media graphics, flyers, posters, and promotional materials
• Assist in planning and executing in-store and seasonal marketing campaigns
• Ensure brand consistency across all visual and written content
• Collaborate with store leadership and marketing teams to support promotional goals
• Track engagement metrics and provide basic performance insights for content improvement

Required Qualifications

• Experience with social media content creation and management
• Proficiency in graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar platforms)
• Strong photography skills, including composition, lighting, and basic photo editing
• Ability to write clear, engaging captions and promotional copy
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in retail, grocery, or food-related marketing
• Basic knowledge of video editing or short-form content (Reels, Stories, Shorts)
• Familiarity with brand guidelines and marketing analytics

Work Environment & Schedule

• On-site role at the MegaMart CA INC EPA store
• Schedule includes weekends and holidays based on promotional needs (Either Thurs-Sun or Fri-Sun)
