Digital Marketing Specialist

The Digital Marketing Specialist plays a pivotal role in shaping the Company’s digital presence and driving measurable growth through creative and strategic initiatives. This role focuses on developing and managing digital assets, producing high-quality video and graphic content, and optimizing social media engagement. The position combines content creation, design expertise, and data-driven marketing to deliver compelling digital experiences that resonate with target audiences and support business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and produce engaging video content for blogs, social media, and email campaigns, including planning, scripting, filming, and editing
  • Design visually compelling digital assets for B2B campaigns, social media posts, sales collateral, and email templates
  • Manage and optimize company social media platforms to drive engagement, share educational content, promote products, and support lead conversion
  • Monitor and analyze marketing campaign performance using key metrics to inform strategy and improve results
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of company products, coverages, and industry trends to create accurate and impactful marketing materials
  • Communicate marketing initiatives to employees to foster internal buy-in and develop brand ambassadors
  • Represent the company at trade shows and industry events as needed
  • Lead or contribute to strategic marketing projects and initiatives that support overall business objectives

Position Characteristics

This position requires a combination of proven project management skills, a high degree of creativity, and advanced comfortability with editing and design programs. This role will help elevate PLM’s digital presence and expand our reach through video and digital collateral. The Digital Marketing Specialist has a strong understanding of digital strategies and recognizes how to connect the dots between concept and deliverable. The ability to execute an idea is paramount. The position requires a self-starter attitude and the ability to work independently to meet deadlines. The Digital Marketing Specialist is mindful and passionate about PLM’s brand, reputation, and distinct voice. As part of the Marketing team, the Digital Marketing Specialist is often required to collaborate on initiatives, act as a secondary resource for peers, and ensure that all active projects align to a common goal. We are looking for an energetic and creative specialist who combines the right amount of technical experience with compelling storytelling skills.

Position Requirements

· Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, video production, or closely related field

· 2–4 years of experience in property/casualty insurance or B2B marketing

· Proven ability to lead digital campaigns or design projects with measurable results

· Proficiency in graphic design tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva) and video editing software (Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro)

· Strong communication skills, including written, verbal, and presentation abilities

· Excellent organizational and prioritization skills; ability to work independently and manage multiple projects

· Hands-on experience with social media platforms (LinkedIn, YouTube) and engagement tools, with knowledge of performance metrics

· Knowledge of optimizing video content for SEO, including incorporating relevant keywords and supporting descriptions, and adding transcriptions to improve visibility, is a plus

· Commitment to ongoing professional development and industry education

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
