Digital Marketing Specialist (Local Search)

Overview
We are a digital marketing agency specializing in local search and lead generation for automotive service-based businesses. We are expanding our local search service and are looking for an experienced Digtial Marketing Specialist experience in local search to support setup, optimization, and ongoing management of client listings.

This is a contract position ideal for someone with hands-on experience managing listings at scale—especially within the Yext platform.

Responsibilities

• Set up and optimize business listings across major directories and platforms using Yext
• Manage location data accuracy (NAP consistency, categories, descriptions, photos, hours, etc.)
• Configure and maintain Yext accounts for new client onboarding
• Troubleshoot listing issues and resolve sync or data conflicts
• Monitor listing status, errors, and performance metrics
• Support review management setup and best-practice guidance
• Collaborate with internal team members on client launches and timelines
• Follow documented processes and contribute to improving workflows

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience working with the Yext platform (required)
• Strong understanding of local SEO and local search ecosystems
• Experience managing business listings across Google Business Profile, Apple Maps, Bing, Yelp, and other directories
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines independently
• Comfortable working remotely and communicating via email and project management tools

Preferred Qualifications

• Agency experience managing multiple client accounts
• Familiarity with multi-location businesses
• Basic understanding of review management and local ranking factors
• Experience documenting processes or SOPs
