Key Responsibilities
- Take full ownership of paid growth across Meta Ads and Google Ads, operating like an internal growth engine rather than a channel manager
- Build scalable paid acquisition systems from scratch or optimize existing ones in a fast-moving, resource-lean environment
- Partner closely with founders, product, and creative teams to align paid traffic with product-market fit, funnels, and revenue goals
- Rapidly test hypotheses around audiences, creatives, offers, and landing pages, shipping experiments weekly and learning fast
- Make quick, high-conviction decisions under imperfect data, prioritizing speed, learning, and growth over perfection
- Identify early performance signals and double down on what works before competitors catch up
- Set up and maintain reliable tracking and attribution in a world of privacy changes and incomplete data
- Actively manage and reallocate budgets to maximize growth impact while protecting cash runway
- Turn performance data into clear growth narratives that help founders make product, pricing, and go-to-market decisions
- Continuously adapt strategy as the startup scales from early traction to growth stage
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience managing Meta Ads and Google Ads campaigns
- Strong understanding of PPC strategy, funnels, and performance marketing
- Experience with Google Analytics (GA4) and Google Tag Manager
- Ability to optimize campaigns for lead generation and/or e-commerce
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with budget management and scaling campaigns
- Excellent communication and reporting skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Google Ads Certification or Meta Blueprint Certification
- Experience with retargeting and lookalike audiences
- Knowledge of CRO and landing page optimization
- Experience working with agencies or multiple accounts
- Familiarity with tools like Hotjar, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or Looker Studio
