Role Overview

OXXO is looking for a data-driven, highly organized Freelance Digital Marketing Specialist to manage and optimize our global paid media presence. This is not just a monitoring role — we need a proactive professional who thrives on diving into metrics, managing multi-market agency relationships, and delivering real-time, high-impact recommendations.

As a freelancer, you will serve as the bridge between our brand vision and technical execution across multiple international territories.

Key Responsibilities

Global Agency Orchestration Act as the primary point of contact for our performance agencies across all active markets. Monitor deliverables, ensure deadline compliance, and maintain budget discipline.

Performance Optimization Support and oversee the execution of paid campaigns across Meta, Google, and TikTok, as well as retention channels including Email and SMS.

KPI Tracking & Anomaly Detection Closely monitor daily and weekly KPIs — including ROAS, CPA, CPC, and Conversion Rates. You should be the first to identify a trend or flag an anomaly before it becomes a problem.

Dynamic Strategy Proactively recommend budget reallocations and creative pivots based on real-time performance data to maximize ROI across different markets.

Insightful Reporting Go beyond raw numbers. Prepare concise, structured reports that translate complex metrics into clear, actionable insights for the leadership team.

Creative Briefing Collaborate with our design team to brief and review ad creatives, ensuring the right balance between performance-driven mechanics and OXXO's brand aesthetics.

Qualifications & Skills

Experience 2–4+ years in performance marketing, either agency or brand-side, with a proven track record in e-commerce or fashion retail.

Platform Expertise Expert-level hands-on experience with Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, TikTok Ads and GA4. Comfortable with product catalog management and Pixel troubleshooting.

AI-Driven Workflow Proficiency in using AI tools to streamline ad copy, automate reporting, and ideate creative concepts. We value efficiency and a forward-thinking approach to tooling.

Analytical Rigor Strong ability to work with and interpret datasets using Excel or Google Sheets.

Agility & Independence Experience working in fast-paced, multi-timezone environments. You are a self-starter who can manage shifting priorities in line with inventory cycles and market dynamics.

Communication Full professional fluency in English — both written and verbal — is required for coordinating with international partners and agencies.
