Digital Marketing Specialist (SEO/Social Content):

Marketing Qubed is a fast-growing, small marketing agency where we know one-size doesn’t fit all. Each brand we work with has a unique set of challenges. Thinking outside the box and bringing the human element to digital marketing is how we help our clients succeed. Marketing Qubed is seeking a highly motivated and adaptable individual to join our team as a Marketing Specialist.

The person in this role will be analytical and data driven, while keeping the human experience at the forefront of their work. Attention to detail and a partnership mentality are key to be successful in this role. This is not a sales role.

What You’ll Do:

• Conduct keyword research and analysis as part of site strategy
• Implement on-page and off-page SEO tactics to improve search engine ranking
• Write SEO-friendly content for client websites in a variety of industries
• Write social media content for client accounts and manage their social profiles
• Contribute to email marketing strategies and write engaging campaign copy
• Show an active interest in learning and growing into technical SEO, with training provided by the company
• Steward for agency processes and provide constructive input on how to improve the process for better quality and efficiency
• Other duties as assigned

What It Takes:

• Attention to detail and the ability to follow processes, with the aptitude to provide input on how to improve the processes
• Exceptional skills in English writing, grammar, and phrasing including the ability to apply brand tone
• An analytical mind that can identify trends and proactively suggest solutions
• Embracing change and a willingness to flex based on client needs and as a growing organization
• Openness to new technology and coaching to improve your skills as a marketer
• Ownership of client deliverables to meet deadlines and provide exceptional work
• Prolonged periods of sitting as a desk and working on a computer
• Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times

For Bonus Points:

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in marketing, communications, or related field
• Proven ability in SEO, Content Marketing, or other Digital Marketing area

Base Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
