The Digital Marketing Strategist will play a key role in advancing TEAM’s mission by developing and executing digital marketing strategies that share the story of God’s work around the world, engage supporters and mobilize new global workers. This position focuses on building brand awareness, deepening audience engagement, and supporting fundraising and recruitment goals through digital channels. The ideal candidate is both creative and analytical, with a passion for global missions and a commitment to excellence in digital communication

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Develop and implement multi-channel digital marketing strategies that support TEAM’s vision of making disciples and planting churches globally.
  • Plan and manage paid media campaigns (Google Ads, Facebook/Instagram Ads, LinkedIn Ads, etc.) to drive audience engagement, donor support, and missionary recruitment.
  • Drive content marketing initiatives, including blogs, newsletters, social media posts, website content, and email campaigns.
  • Conduct keyword research, manage SEO strategy, and optimize TEAM’s website to improve search visibility and grow organic traffic.
  • Use analytics tools (such as Google Analytics and social media insights) to track campaign performance, report on key metrics, and refine strategies based on data.
  • Collaborate closely with TEAM’s content creator, designer and contractors to ensure cohesive messaging and storytelling.
  • Work on MailChimp to segment audiences, automate workflows, and nurture relationships with donors, global workers, and partners.
  • Monitor digital trends and innovations, recommending new strategies and tools that are cutting edge, but also align with TEAM’s mission and values.
  • Help coordinate TEAM’s digital calendar and marketing initiatives across departments to meet deadlines and ministry goals.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Spiritually mature with a growing relationship with Jesus Christ with alignment to TEAM’s Statement of Faith and mission, actively involved in a local church.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in digital marketing strategy, preferably in a nonprofit or missions context.
  • Proven ability to create paid media campaigns and optimize for results.
  • MUST have a strong understanding of SEO, Google Analytics, and MailChimp.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a heart for sharing clear, concise, and compelling ministry stories.
  • Analytical thinker with the ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable strategies.
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Commitment to professionalism, confidentiality, and cross-cultural sensitivity.
