We’re looking for a Digital Marketing Technologist (Part-Time) to directly support our Director of Digital Operations in leading and executing digital strategies across multiple clients.
This role is ideal for someone with strong hands-on digital experience who loves solving problems, building clean systems, and making complex digital work feel organized and manageable.
The ideal candidate is based in the Nashville area and available to work Monday through Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. CST. This role is primarily work from home, however, 1-2 in-office days are required bi-weekly for strategy sessions and client meetings.
Role Overview
The Digital Marketing Technologist will be a hybrid of technical executor and strategic partner: approximately 75% execution and 25% strategy.
You’ll support and collaborate with the Director of Digital Operations on:
- Implementing and QA’ing digital tracking and analytics
- Executing SEO and technical improvements
- Supporting digital strategy across platforms and tools
- Organizing and managing work across multiple clients and internal teams
You will be client-facing at times (attending select meetings, presenting updates) while also doing deep, heads-down technical and operational work behind the scenes.
There is opportunity for this role to grow into a full-time position based on performance and agency needs.
Key Responsibilities
Digital Implementation & Technical Execution
- Configure and manage Google Tag Manager (GTM) containers, triggers, and tags.
- Maintain and QA Google Analytics / GA4 implementations, ensuring accurate tracking and clean data.
- Support website updates and technical changes across WordPress, Sitefinity, Wix, Shopify, and similar CMSs.
- Implement redirects, fix basic technical issues, and support web dev with structured tickets.
- Work with and edit HTML as needed for website and tracking implementations.
SEO & Search Readiness
- Execute SEO tasks including metadata updates, internal linking, and technical cleanup.
- Conduct SEO audits using Ahrefs, Semrush, Screaming Frog, and turn findings into action.
- Support AI- and search-readiness efforts.
- Collaborate with SEO, paid media, and web teams on aligned search strategies.
Analytics, Reporting & Dashboards
- Build and maintain Looker Studio dashboards.
- Support measurement planning and troubleshoot analytics or tagging issues.
CRM & Marketing Operations
- Work in HubSpot, Salesforce, and similar tools for campaign setup, list segmentation, basic workflows, and alignment between marketing systems.
AI-Driven Workflow & Problem Solving
- Use ChatGPT, Perplexity, and similar tools for research, analysis, documentation, and workflow acceleration.
- Help create repeatable AI processes and playbooks.
Project Management & Collaboration
- Keep tasks organized and ensure deadlines and priorities are clear.
- Collaborate closely with Account Managers, Paid Media, Web Dev, and SEO teams.
- Attend selected meetings, capture notes, and follow through on next steps.
- Maintain organized documentation across shared systems.
Required Experience & Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on digital marketing experience.
- Experience with GTM, GA4, SEO execution, audit tools, and CRM platforms.
- Strong working knowledge of HTML, including troubleshooting, editing, and implementing HTML updates.
- Comfortable using Ahrefs, Semrush, Screaming Frog, and Looker Studio.
- Proven ability to use AI tools to solve complex digital tasks.

Role Details
- Type: Part-time (~20 hours/week)
- Salary Commensurate with Experience and portfolio of success and people skills. Hourly Range: (35.00-55.00 per hour)
- Location: Nashville, TN — remote/hybrid- some in office time required
- Growth: Opportunity to become full-time based on performance and agency needs.
Pay: $35.00 - $55.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15.0 – 20.0 per week
