Position Summary
Spicer Group is looking for applicants to fill a part-time paid internship to join our Marketing team with a specialty in video production including basic filming, editing, cutting, audio, and graphics. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in an advertising/marketing environment, and the candidate will be working with Spicer Group’s marketing team which includes graphic designers, copy writers, and other marketing professionals. Our Marketing team needs summer help to work on internal company marketing videos that promote our engineering, surveying, and community planning markets. This includes conducting and working with raw audio and video data generated from podcasts, staff interviews, and on-site construction practices. This job will provide the opportunity to learn, develop, and apply new skills in a real-life corporate marketing environment. Work weeks and hours are flexible and can be adjusted accordingly. Applicants can be expected to be in the office between 20-30 (max) hours a week.
The ideal candidate will be in the process of pursuing a Bachelor of Arts (BA) or Bachelor of Science (BS) in Film & Video Production, Multimedia Design, or a related field. In addition, you may be a good fit if you have prior internship or professional work experience using your filming and video production skills.

Responsibilities
-
Film, edit, and assemble internal marketing videos that promote Spicer Group’s engineering, surveying, and community planning markets

Work with raw audio and video from podcasts, staff interviews, and on-site construction practices to create polished video content

Perform basic video production tasks including filming, cutting, color/visual adjustments, and exporting final deliverables in required formats

Edit and clean audio tracks; sync audio and video; and apply basic sound mixing for clear, professional playback

Create and incorporate basic motion graphics, titles, lower thirds, and other on-screen elements that align with company branding

Collaborate with graphic designers, copywriters, and other marketing team members to plan concepts, gather assets, and incorporate feedback

Organize and manage video/audio project files and footage for efficient editing and retrieval

Provide in-office support (approximately 20–30 hours/week, flexible schedule) to meet summer marketing production needs and deadlines
