Overview:
The Digital Media Creator will work closely with the Communications Team Lead and Marketing Director to plan and execute Northeast’s marketing and social campaigns. The primary function of this role is to create a variety of artistic content for online and social platforms. This position is responsible for managing the schedule and content of our main social media platforms. This person will be responsible for capturing the life of Northeast through photography of events and weekend services. This is a full-time position working Monday – Friday and will be required to work a minimum of 2 Sundays per month.

Responsibilities:

• Exhibits a mature walk with Christ and lives above reproach.
• Committed to the mission, vision and values of Northeast.
• Content creation is about 75% of this role. Creates a variety of artistic content including graphics, videos, podcasts, writings, captions, and motion graphics for online and social platforms.
• Part of the content creation is capturing the life of Northeast through photography of events and weekend services.
• Oversee and manage photo edits in Adobe Lightroom for consistency and archive all photos.
• Managing social platforms is about 25% of this role.
• Manage social media content schedule for Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube.
• Perform regular social audits to evaluate the purpose and performance of all social accounts.
• Manage and optimize paid advertising campaigns on social media platforms.
• Manages privacy and security of social media platforms.
• Conducts market research and analyzes data to provide improvement insights for campaign effectiveness.

Necessary Skills or Abilities

• Journalism, storytelling, interviewing experience
• Proficiency in Adobe products and Canva
• Basic video and audio capturing and editing skills

• Problem solver

Education & Experience Required

• Degree in Marketing, Fine Arts, Communication, PR, or Graphic Design
• 1-3 years of experience managing digital media platforms
