Job Overview:
Web Compostela Energy is seeking a skilled Digital Oilfield Specialist to support the integration of digital technologies into oilfield operations. This role focuses on leveraging data, automation, and advanced analytics to improve operational efficiency, optimize production, and enable real-time decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and support digital oilfield solutions, including IoT, SCADA, and real-time monitoring systems
• Analyze production and operational data to identify optimization opportunities
• Collaborate with engineering, IT, and operations teams to integrate digital tools and platforms
• Develop dashboards and visualization tools for performance monitoring and reporting
• Support predictive maintenance initiatives using data analytics and machine learning
• Ensure data integrity, cybersecurity compliance, and system reliability
• Troubleshoot digital system issues and provide technical support to field teams
• Stay updated on emerging digital technologies in the oil & gas industry

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
• Minimum of 4–7 years of experience in digital oilfield, data analytics, or oil & gas IT systems
• Experience with SCADA systems, IoT platforms, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, SQL, or similar
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities
