Digital Operations QC & Analyst

Job Overview

Magellan Financial is hiring a Digital Operations Analyst/QC to bring analytical rigor and quality control to our digital operations. This is a hands-on role for someone who sees stories in data, catches the typo everyone else missed, and gets satisfaction from shipping work that's right the first time.

You'll analyze performance across our marketing and operations stack, pressure-test software and processes before they go live, and help leadership understand what's actually working. We care more about attitude, curiosity, and aptitude than years of experience. If you're the kind of person who double-checks a spreadsheet formula because "it looked funny," we would love to talk.

This is NOT a developer role.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze performance data from our leads dashboard and marketing platforms to surface trends, anomalies, and actionable insights.
  • Perform quality checks on marketing assets before anything ships such as copy, links, tracking parameters, UTM tagging, landing page behavior, and compliance language.
  • Audit automated workflows and integrations for data accuracy, broken logic, and edge cases that slip through in production.
  • Validate data flowing between platforms (CRM, ad platforms, email, webinar tools) to ensure reporting reflects reality.
  • Build and maintain QC checklists, testing protocols, and pre-launch review processes for operations.
  • Investigate data discrepancies and reporting anomalies; trace issues back to root cause.
  • Flag compliance, disclosure, or approval gaps in advisor-facing content before it reaches prospects.
  • Partner with the Digital Operations Coordinator to keep dashboards, documentation, and reporting accurate and current.

  • Jointly document analytical methodologies and QC processes so findings are reproducible and standards are clear.

Skills

  • High attention to detail. You're the kind of person who notices a broken link, a wrong date, or a metric that doesn't add up.
  • Comfortable working across spreadsheets, dashboards, and reporting tools to slice data multiple ways.
  • Clear written communicator; able to translate what data is saying to non-data oriented individuals.
  • Methodical and process-oriented without being rigid. You can follow a checklist and improve it at the same time.
  • Comfortable with some ambiguity and self-motivated to work through priorities without constant check-ins. We're growing fast and processes are still evolving.
  • Comfortable learning new SaaS tools quickly.
  • Basic understanding of how APIs, webhooks, and integrations work (or a strong willingness to learn). Just enough to know where data might break.
  • Experience with any of the following is a plus but not required: Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, SendGrid or similar ESP, Airtable, Looker/Tableau/Power BI, Google Analytics, Google Workspace, and spreadsheet modeling (pivot tables, lookups, formulas).
  • Awareness of marketing compliance considerations (disclosures, approvals, record-keeping) is a plus.
  • Prior experience in marketing analytics, QA/QC, or a digital operations role is a plus.

Pay: $58,000.00 - $64,000.00 per year
