General Description: This position requires a highly motivated person in the designing field. There must be a flexibility to work up to 40 hours a week and the desire to strike for satisfactory performance. You will also be responsible for designing products according to the client’s needs and instructions, and Imprenta’s expectations.
Typical Work Activities:
- Transition Digital products to Print products (ie. banners, business cards, notepads, invoices, etc)
- Proofreading to produce accurate and high-quality work
- Designing of various products
- Working on layouts and art working pages ready for print
- Using innovation to redefine a design brief within the constraints of cost and time
- Contributing ideas and design artwork to the overall brief
- Prepares final layout by marking and pasting up finished copy and art
- Creative flair, originality and a strong visual sense
- Select colors, images, textures and shapes to create the layout
- Select the size and arrangement of the different elements
- Use computer software to create electronic versions of designs
- Employ color, type, illustration, photography, and various print and layout techniques when designing project
- Design logos for products and businesses.
- Design projects that include but are not limited to business cards, menus, signs, banners, flyers and forms.

- Candidate must have excellent skills with design and photo-editing software such as Photoshop, other design software as InDesign and Illustrator

Primary Responsibilities:
- Responsible for designing jobs and ensure the layout and design is done as requested by client
- Responsible for ensuring jobs are out in a timely manner
- Responsible using the correct templates
- Responsible for correct grammar on jobs
- Responsible for making sure images and other files are in the correct resolution to print to Imprenta Printing standards.
- Responsible for maintaining area clean and organized
- Responsible for keeping with and correctly organize file that belong in the server
- Responsible for following directions provided by Customer Service Representatives
Secondary Responsibilities: As a team member of Imprenta Printing contribution to improve your department is expected.
- How to improve in more efficient ways to design
- Continue expanding on your designing knowledge
- Continue the contribution on the Design Manual with new notes authorized by art director

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour
