About the Role

ELLY DUBAI is urgently looking for a skilled Digital Pattern Maker & Fashion Designer to join our production team in Dubai. This role combines creative design with strong technical pattern-making skills and is ideal for someone who can take a design from concept to production-ready patterns.

You will work closely with the production manager, tailors, and sampling team to ensure accuracy, fit, and efficiency across all collections.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and develop digital patterns for dresses, abayas, and modestwear
• Design new styles in line with the ELLY DUBAI aesthetic
• Digitize, adjust, and grade patterns accurately
• Prepare patterns for plotter printing
• Manage pattern layouts and labeling for production
• Conduct fittings and apply corrections
• Maintain a digital pattern library
• Work closely with tailors to resolve construction issues
• Optimize patterns to reduce fabric wastage
• Support sampling and production timelines

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Pattern Maker and/or Fashion Designer
• Strong knowledge of digital pattern-making software (CLO3D, Illustrator, Lectra or similar)
• Ability to use plotter printing for full-scale patterns
• Solid understanding of garment construction and fitting
• Experience in modestwear is a strong advantage
• Detail-oriented, organized, and production-focused
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
