Responsibilities

• Operate digital printing presses efficiently, maintaining optimal print quality and consistency throughout production runs
• Prepare files using graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite, ensuring proper layout, typography, and color management before printing
• Conduct prepress duties including file checks, image adjustments, and proofing to guarantee accurate color reproduction and sharp image quality
• Perform routine maintenance on printing equipment, troubleshooting issues promptly to minimize downtime
• Manage material inventory, loading substrates like paper or vinyl onto printers and ensuring correct specifications for each job
• Implement quality control measures by inspecting prints for defects, color accuracy, and adherence to client specifications
• Collaborate with the customer to interpret project requirements and suggest solutions for complex print jobs

Experience

• Proven experience operating digital or large-format printing equipment in a manufacturing or commercial print environment
• Familiarity with prepress workflows, color management techniques, and layout design principles
• Skilled in graphic design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
• Understanding of typography and print advertising standards to produce visually compelling materials
• Prior experience in quality control procedures within a production setting ensures consistent output excellence
