Digital Printing Operator

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Digital Printing Textile Machine Operator to operate and maintain digital textile printing machines. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring high-quality fabric printing, accurate color matching, machine efficiency, and adherence to production timelines. Experience in textile manufacturing and digital printing technologies is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate digital textile printing machines (e.g., direct-to-fabric printers).
• Set up machines, load fabrics, and prepare print files as per production requirements.
• Monitor printing process to ensure color accuracy, design alignment, and fabric quality.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and cleaning.
• Troubleshoot minor mechanical or software issues during printing.
• Coordinate with the design and merchandising teams to ensure print specifications are met.
• Conduct quality checks before, during, and after production.
• Maintain production logs and report output data.
• Ensure proper ink usage and minimize wastage.
• Follow workplace safety and compliance standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Diploma / Technical certification in Textile Technology or related field preferred.
• 2–5 years of experience operating digital textile printing machines.
• Experience with machines such as MS Printing, Mimaki, EFI Reggiani, Atexco, or similar.
• Strong understanding of fabric types (knits, woven, polyester, cotton, blends).
• Knowledge of color management and RIP software.
• Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work under production deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and quality standards.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in reactive, pigment, or sublimation digital printing.
• Familiarity with ICC color profiling.
• Understanding of fabric pre-treatment and post-treatment processes.
• Experience in export-oriented textile manufacturing is a plus.
