ROLE OVERVIEW
The Digital Sales & Content Executive sits at the intersection of storytelling and sales performance. This role is responsible for creating high-quality, platform-optimized content across social media, email, the agency website, and paid channels — while also playing an active role in converting digital interest into confirmed travel bookings.
This is not a pure content role. The ideal candidate understands the customer journey from the first Instagram scroll to the final booking confirmation, and knows how to use content as a sales tool — not just a brand-building exercise.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Content Creation & Storytelling
- Plan, create, and publish engaging travel content across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube Shorts, and Pinterest.
- Write compelling copy for destination guides, package promotions, email newsletters, WhatsApp campaigns, and the agency blog.
- Produce or coordinate short-form video content including reels, travel vlogs, destination highlights, and client testimonials.
- Develop seasonal content calendars aligned with promotional campaigns and travel peak periods.
- Repurpose content efficiently across platforms to maximise reach and minimise production time.
2. Digital Sales Support & Conversion
- Respond to sales inquiries generated through digital content — DMs, comments, story replies, email, WhatsApp, and live chat.
- Qualify leads and pass sales-ready prospects to senior consultants, or close straightforward bookings directly.
- Create content that explicitly drives action: limited-time offers, destination reveals, package launches, and urgency campaigns.
- Support retargeting efforts by creating content tailored to warm audiences at different stages of the booking funnel.
- Assist in building and executing email marketing sequences that nurture leads toward conversion.
3. SEO, Website & Digital Presence
- Write and update SEO-optimised destination and package pages on the agency website.
- Maintain an active blog with keyword-researched travel articles that drive organic traffic.
- Monitor and improve on-page content performance using Google Analytics, Search Console, and relevant SEO tools.
- Ensure all digital content accurately reflects current pricing, availability, and promotional offers.
4. Paid Media & Campaign Execution
- Create ad creatives (copy and visuals) for Meta Ads, Google Display, and other paid digital channels.
- Work alongside the marketing team or agency to A/B test ad content for better click-through and conversion rates.
- Manage boosted posts and sponsored content on social platforms.
5. Community Management & Brand Voice
- Actively engage with the agency's online community — responding to comments, DMs, and reviews in a timely and on-brand manner.
- Monitor competitor digital strategies and emerging content trends in the travel sector.
- Maintain a consistent brand voice, visual identity, and messaging across all digital touchpoints.
- Source and manage user-generated content (UGC) from past clients to build social proof.
6. Analytics & Performance Reporting
- Track and report on key content and sales metrics weekly: reach, engagement, leads generated, and conversion rates.
- Provide actionable insights based on content performance data to continuously optimise the content strategy.
- Present monthly content and campaign reports to the Digital Marketing Manager.
