• Deliver comprehensive lessons focused on reading comprehension, writing skills, and test strategies tailored to the SAT format using advanced learning technology platforms
• Adapt curriculum content to meet student needs
• Teach already designed lesson plans to enhance understanding and retention
• Provide group tutoring sessions to address challenges and track progress regularly
• Utilize presentation skills to clearly communicate complex concepts and motivate students toward their academic goals
• Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development initiatives aimed at continuous improvement of instructional materials and methods

Experience

• Experience teaching SAT (digital or paper pencil) is preferred.
• Proven classroom experience in teaching English, Reading, or Writing at the high school or adult education level
• Strong background in tutoring or personalized instruction, especially in standardized test preparation such as the SAT/ACT
• Experience working with students requiring special education support or accommodations is a plus
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present information clearly and motivate learners effectively

Pay: $30.00 - $50.00 per hour
