DIGITAL SIGNAGE INSTALLATION TECHNICIAN

Responsibilities

• Install digital signage displays, mounting brackets, wiring, and related hardware according to technical specifications and safety standards
• Use tools such as ohmmeters to test electrical circuits and ensure proper functionality of installed systems
• Configure display settings, network connections, and content management systems for optimal operation
• Conduct site assessments to determine the best placement and setup of digital signage solutions
• Troubleshoot technical issues during installation and perform adjustments as needed to ensure seamless operation
• Collaborate with project managers and clients to meet installation timelines and specifications
• Maintain detailed documentation of installation processes, configurations, and testing results

Skills

• Proficiency with electrical testing tools such as ohmmeters for circuit verification
• Strong understanding of digital signage hardware and software components
• Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and installation instructions accurately
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to troubleshooting
• Physical dexterity for installing equipment at various heights and in confined spaces
• Must know how to terminate rj45 network cables
• Must know how to do cable management
• Must know a little about construction like how to mount on metal studs,
• Must have reliable transportation to transport DMBs from Warehouse
• Must have tools to drill through metal studs, cut wood, etc.
• Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and clients
• Prior experience in AV or electronics installation is a plus but not required
