About Our Job

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Digital & Social Media Marketing Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and managing engaging content across multiple platforms, crafting strategic content calendars, scheduling posts, designing impactful social media advertising campaigns, and assisting with digital ad campaigns. This role also involves writing high-quality blog posts to complement social media efforts. This position works closely with all members of the Rethink team including Digital Marketing, Social Media Marketing and Traditional Marketing. Understanding the importance of brand, the ideal candidate must be detail-oriented, well-organized, have superb written/verbal skills, and enjoy working with a team. This role also does require the ability to work in-person.

Our team is a dynamic and collaborative group that develops and executes strategies that inform, engage and inspire others across the tri-state area. Rethink Media represents numerous businesses throughout the region, and we work hard to increase awareness of each brand through the distribution of compelling content across a variety of digital and traditional channels. Simply put, we help our clients rethink their marketing both strategically and creatively.

Duties and Responsibilities

Content Creation & Strategy:

  • Develop, write, and design engaging content tailored to each client’s brand and target audience.
  • Plan, organize, and maintain comprehensive monthly content calendars for all client accounts.
  • Ensure brand consistency and adherence to client guidelines across all content

Content Scheduling & Publishing:

  • Schedule and publish content across platforms using Meta Business Suite.
  • Monitor post-performance and adjust strategies based on engagement and analytics.

Advertising Campaigns:

  • Create and manage paid social media advertising campaigns to meet client goals, including lead generation, brand awareness, and conversions.
  • Monitor ad performance and optimize campaigns for maximum ROI.
  • Assist the Digital Marketing Manager in developing digital ad campaigns.

Blog Writing:

  • Write compelling, SEO-friendly blog posts that align with client goals and amplify their digital presence.

Collaboration & Reporting:

  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to develop content that aligns with marketing objectives.
  • Prepare and present performance reports, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.

General Responsibilities:

  • Ability to work on your own as well as with the team.
  • Think creatively and pragmatically with a willingness to consider many options, problem solve and take directives as necessary.
  • Provide overall support as needed and assigned.
  • Perform other relevant duties as assigned.
  • Assisting the Digital Marketing Manager when needed.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, marketing or related field is required.
  • At least three years of experience in communications, public relations, marketing, or related fields, with a track record of success in digital communications, is required.
  • Strong graphic design skills with experience in Canva is required
  • Strong copywriting skills with the ability to write engaging and grammatically sound content.
  • Experience with Meta Business Suite
  • Familiarity with social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.) and their best practices.
  • Knowledge of social media advertising and analytics tools.
  • Excellent copywriting abilities are required
  • Background knowledge in digital marketing is preferred
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Certified in Google Analytics preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $38,000.00 - $44,000.00 per year
