The Digital Strategist is responsible for developing and executing innovative digital marketing strategies that support clients’ business objectives and enhance brand visibility. In this role, you’ll leverage a deep understanding of digital platforms, social media trends, and content strategy to drive engagement, build community, and boost conversions. You’ll analyze both our internal digital landscape and that of our clients to uncover growth opportunities.
You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams and clients to optimize content, tools, and technologies across all digital touchpoints.
This position reports to the Director of Integrated Communications.
- Serve as the primary digital point of contact for assigned clients, manage client work, build strong relationships, and ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Analyze clients’ digital marketing performance and identify strategic opportunities for growth across channels.
- Develop and implement integrated digital strategies aligning with agency and client objectives.
- Stay on the cutting edge of digital trends, tools, and technologies to continuously improve performance and
- Partner with internal teams—including creative, account, and media—to ensure cohesive and consistent campaign execution.
- Leverage analytics tools to track, measure, and optimize campaign performance, providing real-time insights and recommendations.
- Design and optimize digital campaigns to boost web traffic, increase social media engagement, and drive conversion.
- Oversee SEO strategy development and execution to enhance clients’ search engine visibility and performance.
- Present regular reports on strategy outcomes, key metrics, and actionable insights to clients and senior leadership.
- Manage and curate high-quality digital content across formats—blogs, video, social media, graphics—to support client messaging and brand voice.
- Collaborate closely with sales or business development teams to ensure digital efforts are aligned with lead generation and revenue goals.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and persuasively to clients and internal teams.
- Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines efficiently and precisely.
- Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills, particularly in working with digital media partners and cross-functional teams.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities, sharp eye for detail, and follow-through.
- Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative approach to brainstorming thoughtful, client-centric solutions.
- Proficient in digital analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Net Insight, Omniture, or Web Trends, focusing on data-driven decision-making.
- Working knowledge of front-end web development languages (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and understanding their impact on digital strategy and execution.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, draw insights, and optimize digital performance.
- Up to date on the latest digital marketing trends, tools, platforms, and best practices, with a passion for continuous learning and innovation.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Media, Communications, or a related field, or 5 years of equivalent experience.
- Proven working experience in digital marketing.
- Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media, and/or display advertising campaigns.
- Experience in optimizing landing pages and user funnels.
- Experience in setting up and optimizing Google AdWords campaigns.
- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints.
- Spanish language proficiency is a plus.
