DIMENSIONAL INSPECTOR

Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Dimensional Inspector to join our Quality team in a fast-paced aerospace manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for ensuring that all products meet customer specifications, engineering requirements, and industry standards through precise inspection and measurement practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform dimensional inspections of machined and manufactured parts using precision measuring instruments
• Interpret and verify product conformance to engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications
• Apply knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) to evaluate part accuracy
• Utilize inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, indicators, and other measuring equipment
• Document inspection results accurately and maintain detailed records
• Identify and report non-conforming products and assist in corrective actions
• Work closely with production and engineering teams to ensure quality standards are met
• Ensure compliance with company quality procedures and aerospace industry standards

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Minimum [2] years of experience in dimensional inspection within a manufacturing or aerospace environment preferred
• Strong knowledge of precision inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.)
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Solid understanding and application of GD&T principles
• High attention to detail and strong analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Strong documentation and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in aerospace manufacturing
• Familiarity with quality systems such as AS9100
• CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) experience is a plus

Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
