Dining Room Server/Cocktail Server

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Fine Dining Room Server to join our team in providing exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality and a strong commitment to guest service. As a Dining Room Server, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality food and cocktail/bar service in a fine dining environment while ensuring guest satisfaction.

Duties

• Greet and seat guests promptly, providing menus and offering assistance with selections.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using Toast POS systems.
• Serve food and drinks to guests in a timely manner, ensuring presentation standards are met.
• Suggestive sell menu items and daily specials to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables and resetting for new guests.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines throughout all service processes.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and managing tips.
• Provide excellent guest services by addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly.

Skills

• Culinary experience or knowledge of food preparation is a plus.
• Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tables during busy service periods.
• Sales skills with the ability to upsell menu items effectively.
• Previous fine dining experience is highly desirable.
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction.
• Knowledge of food handling practices, sanitation standards, and safety regulations in the food industry.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately, including cash handling responsibilities.
