Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Dining Room Server to join our team in providing exceptional dining experiences. As a Dining Room Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests enjoy their meals while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and sanitation.

Duties

• Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems.
• Provide detailed menu descriptions, including daily specials, to enhance guest experience.
• Upsell menu items and promote specials to maximize sales opportunities.
• Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring presentation meets restaurant standards.
• Monitor guest satisfaction throughout the dining experience, addressing any concerns promptly.
• Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery.
• Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines during food handling and service.
• Process payments accurately, including cash handling and basic math calculations for transactions.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred, particularly in fine dining or nightclub environments.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha or Micros is highly desirable.
• Culinary experience or knowledge of food preparation techniques is a plus.
• Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks during busy service periods.
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
• Understanding of food safety standards and sanitation practices is essential.
