Job Summary
The Driver's Intervention Program (DIP) Manager will be responsible for the comprehensive oversight, management, and strategic development of our state-certified Driver's Intervention Program across Northwest, Ohio. This pivotal role requires a dynamic leader with a strong understanding of substance abuse intervention, program administration, regulatory compliance, and community engagement. The Director will ensure the program meets all Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services (OhioMHAS) standards, delivers effective educational content, and maintains a reputation for excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Program Leadership & Management:
- Provide visionary leadership and day-to-day operational management for all aspects of the Driver's Intervention Program.
- Develop, implement, and monitor program policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure efficiency, effectiveness, and compliance.
- Oversee program scheduling, participant intake, registration, and completion processes.
- Manage program resources, including facilities, materials, and technology.
- Compliance & Accreditation:
- Ensure strict adherence to all Ohio Revised Code (ORC) and Ohio Administrative Code (OAC) regulations pertaining to Driver's Intervention Programs.
- Maintain current OhioMHAS certification and prepare for all required audits and reviews.
- Stay abreast of changes in state laws, regulations, and best practices related to OVI intervention and substance abuse treatment.
- Curriculum & Education:
- Oversee the delivery of the OhioMHAS-approved DIP curriculum, ensuring fidelity and effectiveness.
- Evaluate program content and delivery methods, making recommendations for improvements based on participant outcomes and feedback.
- Ensure all educational materials are up-to-date, relevant, and engaging.
- Staff Supervision & Development:
- In conjunction with the Program Director, you will be responsible to recruit, hire, train, supervise, and evaluate program facilitators and administrative staff.
- Provide ongoing professional development, coaching, and support to ensure staff competency and program quality.
- Foster a positive, collaborative, and professional work environment.
- Financial Management:
- Manage the program budget, including revenue generation (participant fees) and expenditure control.
- Ensure accurate financial record-keeping and reporting.
- Community & Stakeholder Relations:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with courts, probation departments, law enforcement agencies, and other referral sources.
- Represent the program at community events, conferences, and stakeholder meetings.
- Collaborate with other community agencies to enhance service delivery and participant support.
- Data Management & Reporting:
- Oversee the collection, analysis, and reporting of program data, including participant demographics, outcomes, and satisfaction.
- Prepare comprehensive reports for internal review, OhioMHAS, and other relevant stakeholders.
- Utilize data to inform program improvements and strategic planning.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Public Health, Criminal Justice, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in program management, preferably within a substance abuse treatment, behavioral health, or criminal justice setting.
- Demonstrated experience with OhioMHAS regulations and compliance, particularly concerning Driver's Intervention Programs.
- Proven experience in staff supervision and development.
- Skills & Abilities:
- Strong leadership, organizational, and project management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including public speaking.
- Ability to interpret and apply complex regulations and policies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and data management systems.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications
- Ohio Chemical Dependency Professionals Board (OCDPB) licensure/certification (e.g., LICDC, LCDC III, CDCA).
- Experience in curriculum development or adult education.
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
Pay: $25.52 - $30.73 per hour
Expected hours: 32.0 per week
