Diplomatic Mission Driver

The Appointment

GSE Senegal-Doha is seeking a highly professional Diplomatic Mission Driver to provide secure and prestigious transport services for diplomatic staff and visiting dignitaries. Based in the heart of Doha’s financial district on Grand Hamad Street, this role requires a candidate who embodies the highest standards of punctuality, discretion, and formal etiquette. You will be the primary operator for a fleet of executive vehicles, ensuring seamless movement between embassies, government ministries, and international gateways.

Key Responsibilities

• Executive Transport: Provide safe and comfortable transit for senior diplomatic officials, ensuring strict adherence to schedules and formal protocols.
• Protocol & Etiquette: Maintain a professional demeanor at all times, demonstrating a deep understanding of diplomatic sensitivities and the confidentiality required in a mission environment.
• Route Planning: Utilize extensive knowledge of Doha’s "Diplomatic Area" (West Bay) and government zones to select the most efficient and secure routes, avoiding traffic bottlenecks.
• Fleet Stewardship: Ensure the mission’s executive vehicles are maintained in pristine condition, both mechanically and aesthetically, with daily detailing and safety checks.
• Liaison Duties: Assist with the delivery of sensitive diplomatic pouches and documents to government offices and partner missions as required.

Professional Profile

• Minimum 7–10 years of professional driving experience, with at least 3 years serving in a diplomatic mission, embassy, or high-level government office.
• Impeccable driving record and a valid Qatar Driver’s License.
• Fluent in English; proficiency in French or Arabic is highly desirable given the mission’s regional focus.
• Superior knowledge of Doha’s geography, specifically the locations of major embassies, ministries, and VIP airport terminals.
• A clean criminal record and the ability to pass rigorous background security clearances.
