Direct Care Professional-Evenings/Weekends

Responsible for providing care to individuals with intellectual disabilities/autism who reside in a group home. Assist the individuals with activities of daily living, i.e. meal preparation, administration of medication, bathing/showering assistance, house cleaning. Transportation to community activities, day habilitation sites, and medical appointments is required. Must be a self-starter and able to work independently. You must be physically able to perform restraints and CPR. Lifting is required for this position. Skills: Must be able to read and write. Must be comfortable using a computer. A driver's license is required and good driving record a must. A criminal background screening done prior to interview. Interviews are currently being scheduled. Previous group home experience a plus. Must be dependable. . The schedule for position 1 is Sunday 10am-10pm and Monday through Wednesday 2:30pm-10pm, position 2, Thursday and Friday 2:30-10pm and Saturday 10a-10p, and position 3 Wedesday 2:30-10, Thursday 2:30-10, Friday, 2:30-10, and Saturday 8a-10p.

Group homes are located in Fort Bend County. You must be able to pass a background check through Texas Department of Public Safety. A Driver's License is required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $13.00 per hour
