• IF SO, Celebration Group Homes Inc. in Albertville, AL is looking for Direct Support Professionals to join our TEAM.

This position is at one of our group homes working with adults with intellectual disabilities in their homes! Helping them to be as independent as they can be, AND LIVE THEIR BEST LIFE!

As a direct support member, you would be assisting individuals with their daily activities such as shopping for personal wants and needs, going to the movies, bowling, and to their ball games, buying groceries and supplies for their home, keeping their home maintained, assisting with laundry, cooking and preparing meals and snacks, administering medications, and assisting with all levels of personal hygiene.

**Being able to chart efficiently and precisely is a skill that is required. You must be coachable/have a willingness to learn.

*Company vehicles are available. Transporting in your personal vehicle is not allowed without Admin approval.

***YOU MUST BE AT LEAST 21 YEARS OLD TO WORK FOR CELEBRATION GROUP HOMES DUE TO VEHICLE INSURANCE REQUIREMENTS.***

We have full time and part time positions available at this group home.

Direct Support Professional: 2-2-3 Schedule Our 12 hour shifts work on a 2-2-3 rotating schedule. Pay rate for this position is $13/hr with opportunities to move into leadership positions with pay raises.

• Full-Time Hours Position Available: We have multiple positions that are available for this posting. Hours available are 11:30a-08:30p weekday rotation with 8a-8p being the hours for the weekend rotation. 8p-8a on a 2-2-3 rotation is also available.
• WE ARE NOT AN ASSISTED LIVING FACILITY. You are not caring for 10+ individuals and having to do rotations every so often. Night shift responsibilities usually includes cleaning of the common areas and supervision while the individuals sleep. Once your cleaning is done, you will primarily be supervising the individuals while they sleep. Once morning arrives, you give medications, cook breakfast, and do shift change.

Requirements:

-High School Diploma/GED

-Background check free of pending/convicted felonies and a clear FACIS III search in the medical field.

-Clean drug screenings

The capability to pass the following train before being placed in the homes on shift.

• MAC 1
• CPR/First AID
• Overview of MOAB
