Position Summary

We are seeking compassionate, dependable, and motivated Direct Care Staff to provide supervision and support to youth ages 7–18 in a structured residential group home setting. Staff will ensure a safe, supportive, and therapeutic environment while assisting residents with daily living skills, behavioral support, and community involvement.

Duties

- Maintain written records related to the behavior of the client under his/her supervision, assess the progress of the client in their assigned programs and communicate information to co-workers in other shifts such as completing progress notes in Theranest at the end of each shift.
- Provide direct care services in a residential setting.
- Ensure the well-being and safety of residents
- Assist with personal care needs
- Train clients in area such as dialing living, vocational opportunities, leisure activities, behavioral management and assisting with outings.
- Foster a positive and supportive environment
- Adhere to resident rights and maintain confidentiality
-Must be attentive to carrying out programs accurately and appropriately, capable of interviewing with clients who are agitated or out of control and capable of monitoring the environment for safety concerns.

Requirements

-Ability to report and in writing knowledge of emotional needs of children and adolescents. He/She must have the ability to communicate effectively.
- Experience or certification in caregiving and first aid
- High School Graduate or GED. Must be 18 years of age or older and have an active/valid driver's license. ( MUST BE ABLE TO READ AND WRITE)
- Skilled ability at CPI, First Aid, CPR for Adult and Child, Bloodborne Pathogens and Medication Administration.
- Familiarity with medication administration protocols
- Understanding of personal care home procedures
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $15.00 per hour
