Fox Run: The Center for Children and Adolescents , a subsidiary of UHS, is recruiting for Patient Transport Driver/Direct Care Staff. This a full-time Direct Care position, but may have a patient for transport to and from the facility, depending on the transport needed on any given day. The hours may vary depending on the location where the patient will be transported to and from.

Located in St. Clairsville (OH), this 100-bed facility thrives on passionate and dedicated personnel, while incorporating innovative technology and therapies for the betterment of our patients. Responsibilities and Duties

• You will ensure the safety and well-being of our residents
• You will safely transport residents to and from the Facility
• You will assist and monitor daily living activities
• You will model appropriate social skills and set firm yet caring/nurturing limits
• You will react therapeutically in a crisis situation and respond to residents with empathy and respect
• You will work within a team framework to ensure excellent care for our residents

Qualifications and Skills

Valid Driver License and clean driving record.

Experience in mental health or related healthcare field, with knowledge of psychiatric patient care techniques with understanding of mental illness, preferred.

High school graduate or equivalent required.

Some college coursework in psychology or mental health related field preferred.
